Plainville Plating is seeking to fill an entry level position. No experience is necessary, but some experience with a manufacturing environment would be an asset.
Duties include:
Processing customer orders on one of our metal finishing lines.
Following written instructions and work orders.
Candidates must be able to:
Read and write in English
Stand for extended periods.
Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Pass a drug test.
Previous experience with plating or anodizing is a plus!

Our company was founded in the late 1800's and we've been in our current location since the 1910's. Among our customers are industry leaders in fields like aerospace, defense, and medical equipment.

Plainville Plating Co., Inc. is a 104-year-old company continuously situated at 21 Forestville Road in Plainville, Conn. The company offers many types of precision metal finishing, including anodizing, hard coat anodizing, mil-spec plating, and is one of the few American companies to offer titanium anodizing. Plainville Plating works with many area manufacturers in a variety of industries including commercial, medical, defense, and aerospace.
As of July, 2022, Plainville Plating is a Woman-Owned Small Business. Our owner brings more than 25 years of manufacturing and management experience. She has earned AAS, BS, and MS degrees in engineering disciplines, and has taught engineering and manufacturing at the college level.
